Devlog #2 - Project Watcher


# What we have worked on

In this blog, I will introduce you to the three weapons that will be available in the revised demo. Recently we have been preparing our game mainly for the demo, which we want to make available at the upcoming Stemfeast Festival. As long as we will make it on time.

# Sniper rifle

Sniper rifle will be able to knock down most of the regular opponents with a single shot. It will have two modes to use. The first will allow standard aiming (iron sight). The second, on the other hand, will use scope aiming. The second mode will be hidden as an add-on in the game. Once found, the player will be able to switch freely between the two modes.

# Shotgun

The shotgun in the demo version will also have two modes. The first will allow you to shoot more powerful ammunition, which will, however, have a greater spread. The second, on the other hand, will allow you to put on an extended barrel, which will reduce the spread, but at the same time reduce the firepower. As with the sniper rifle, the second fire mode will have to be found by the player. And once this is done the player will be able to switch freely between modes.

# Light machine gun

The light machine gun will have two aiming modes. The first uses iron sight, while the second uses holographic sight:

It is very likely that in the future each weapon will receive additional fire modes, but we need to think more carefully about such an implementation.

# What are next steps

In the next devlog, we will most likely give you a closer look at the enemies that will appear in the new demo. Unless something more interesting will pop up.
